Hiking day one in Sedona

It's so beautiful here. I am a bit sad we are having cloudy weather because it doesn't do justice to the beauty of the rocks!!!

We hiked Doe Mountain and Fay Canyon trails today! The kids hiked a total of 9 miles today- little superstars! And they never once complained.

This was snapped  yesterday as we drove in to town.

This morning we had a fun hike all together! It was only .9 miles up- to the top of Doe Mtn but then we wandered around he top soaking up the 360 degree views! Spectacular

 See the white dot in the bend in the road- center of photo? That is our RV parked off the side of the road- no room in the parking lot!

After finishing hiking, we ate lunch in our RV. The beauty all around us was spectacular! What a treat- the benefit of pulling off side of road anywhere and running the generator to heat lunch! 

After lunch, the  boys and I hiked Fay Canyon trail while sydney slept in the Rv with Matt! It was bear country so boys were a little scared and walked really fast :) now that Wesley can read he spotted the sign himself...
