Kids enjoyed being able to see to the bottom today and it inspired them even more to throw snowballs over the edge
Views from Mather Point

We did a two mile hike and it was glorious - kids kept saying they were n Narnia!

The snow on the trees was wet and heavy and beautiful!

Wesley took this one !

The boys really enjoyed finding icicles off the trees and eating them ;) it was a fun thing to teach them/share with them

We got a family photo!! Yay

We saw lots of snowmen along the way and zack wanted photos of all of them.

As the day went on the clouds cleared further and we got spectacular views!

I was surprised witht the amount of snow in the park (about 8 inches) that there wasn't more snow in the canyon or on the walls!

Look out below- this was a right over the edge view

This was Zacks favorite snowman along the way!

Wesley joined in the snowman documenting also

Riding the park shuttle! So convenient and it is how we got everywhere in the park. They also have a fair bit of bike trails but they were mostly snow covered.

One of my favorites

The history here was really cool! Like rocks used in the fireplace were dug out from canyon walls and the building is original to the park- early 1900s.

Sunset glory

The light coming through this tree was glorious

So pretty

A camera phone doesn't do it justice! I captured some great ones on my good camera that I plan to enlarge and print on canvas! It was a sunset to behold!
